Ok Formally here is the deal ...Yes we are going to close this location . We will close May 30th .We will have lots of discounts on set ups , fish and corals we still have instock.

The Move and the economy have not helped us at all . I have spent the last 15 years of my life dedicated to the hobby and 6 of it dedicated to the store . I hate to do it but I am personally ready for a change . I want to be able to spend more time with my family and relax some.

So you say what's next ...well we are going to open a smaller location (that will be by appointment only) .We plan to carry High end products and work on coral propagation . We will still offer a full online store for you to buy from (our prices will drop allot) and you can always make an appointment to come buy from us directly. We will also still do aquarium servicing , Custom Tank Installs and Ponds.

Some of you will be sad by this (as I am) and some of you will be happy. I personally feel it is really bad and disrespectful  how allot of you choose to disregard all the work Chris (tideline) ,Joe (from AOA) and I do to help you all in this Hobby. If you think you can do better than I welcome you to try it (it is not easy at all ). Go get a loan and put you money where you mouth is....This online trend is so bad for us all ....people use it cause its cheaper!!!! and get the advise for us.....well I have some news for you ...we dedicate your lives to this only to be told ( I can get this cheaper online) when we have over head to pay for and employees to take care of. Well that is all I have to say on that .

Thank you to all who have supported us over the years.

If you KNEW Brian, you would KNOW that he isnt out to screw anyone. I am sure he will either refund your money, or make good on the lockline.  Maybe you should try calling him, and ask, and leave the attitude outside before you call.

This ain't the sh*t storm thread.  That's over there --->

You all should be supportive of Brian in his efforts to continue supporting our hobby.  Regardless of it being Brian or not, anyone in his position deserves some level of respect.  In fact any small business owner does that had the balls to put their name on the wall.  That's more than most.

However you feel about Brian closing his store is unfortunate for you, but suck it up and wish him the best.  How would you feel if we were bashing on you because you lost your job, filed bankruptcy, or your business failed.  Think about...

Wow, I am sorry to read this Brian. Best of luck to you and I know that things will work out.  You know your stuff and do it right.  Things happen, especially in this crappy economy, and people need to step back and take a breath before pi$$ing on a bonfire.

I was going down 17 last night to go to a River Dogs game, (they lost Sad ) and saw the sign on the store front.
So sorry your shutting down Brian. I know how hard you worked to keep this dream alive. Being out of the hobby for close to a year now because of the cost I can appreciate how hard it must have been making that change over. My company took some hard hits also over the past 2 years.
I do believe that God has a plan and we need to keep striving forward in this world until His plans take fruit.
This propagation idea may just be what that plan is.
I still have that high flow 120 if it will help any let me know. I also have a 60 gallon custom frag tank and some killer equipment. Give me a call 843-330-3836 if there is any way I can help in your new plans. Your knowledge is vast in the hobby and I am sure you will prevail!
Daniel, relax, if you apologize for you public rudeness I have some flared heads you can have to settle issue.

I am real sorry to see the store go and was crushed when we heard about it. We live in Hanahan and passed two other stores to get to yours because we loved the feel of the store, the knowledge of the staff and how we were taken care of each time we came. Today as we picked up water from our "new" store, my daughter exclaimed "I miss our store, I wish it was still open"

I hope everything turns out well in the end for you - thanks for helping us as we were introduced into the world of Reef tanks!
